!Notes: Bernard earned a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Loras College, Debuque, Iowa, and became a Technical Publication Supervisor for Sunstrand Corporation. He was a corporal in the Korean War, located at an army chemical center in Baltimore, Maryland.

!Notes: [From Phyllis Grissom] Bernard Graduated from St. Patrick's Grade School, St. Thomas High School in Rockford, Ill. He also graduated fro Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa with a major in Chemistry. He followed his garduation with advanced studies at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisc. Barbara was also a stundent at Marquette. Bernard was an army coporal and served during the Korean War. He was based at the Army Chemical center Baltimore Maryland. Bernard was employeed by Sunstrand Corp as a Technical Writer. He became Supervisor of their Technical Publications. He became a frequent flyer travelling extensively in the United States and on the Continent, He served as National President of the Technical Writers Group.
