Marie was born on 23 FEB 1899 in Byron, Ogle County, Illinois, the daughter of John W. Kennedy and Kathryn Jane Riley.

She died on 16 FEB 1991 in Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Her husband was Bernard Conrad Normann, who she married on 12 JUN 1918 in St.. Mary's, Rockford, Winnebago County, Illinois. Their five known children were Kathryn Marie (1919-1990), Elizabeth Phyllis (1921-?), Bernard John (1929-2017), Dorothy Jane (1931-1932) and Patricia Anne (1934-1988).

!Notes: Marie graduated from high school in 1916. She was employed as a bookkeeper and typest and served as a Supervisor in the Computer Department of the J. I. Case Company. She liked to cook and spent her free time crocheting. She taught some of her grand-children her husband's receipe for paste [meat pie], and the tradition of the men of the house making this dish as a special feast.
