Research Notes
-
In the Delabere pedigree in the Visitation of Herefordshire: A Sanacre Delabare , son of Sir Richard Delabare, had married an Elizabeth Baskerville, daughter of Sir James Baskerville.[4] The death of Senacre Delabere in 1551 appears to be an error. Elizabeth, daughter of Senacre Delabere, married Sir Michael Lyster and he died in 1551.[6][7]
-
1514: Inquisition Post Mortem of the father of Senacre Delabere: "Delabere, Richard, miles, ob. 15 July ult. — Inq. at Leominster 14 Oct. 6 Hen. 8 — Hereford — 1. Thomas Delabere, s. & h., aet. 30, married to Anne . . . ; 2. James ; 3. Senacre ; 4. George".[8]
-
Elizabeth the widow of Sir Richard Delabere then married a Thomas Baskerville Esq., and was holding the manor of Dorston, Herefordshire.[9]
-
"From the Inq. p. m. Elizabeth Baskerville, 20, Hen. 8, it appears she died seized of the manor of Burlton, which her 1st husb., Sir R. Delabere, had held of Edwd. Duke of Bucks, by knt's service".[6][10][11] Presumably the Elizabeth in question was Elizabeth Mores, the second wife of Sir Richard Delabere.[12]
