20 Mar 1454/1455: Release by Morgan ap Jenkyn ap Phelipp Esq. to John Gwyn of Redwick concerning lands in Redwick.[11]
1456: Morgan ap Jenkin ap Philip was appointed receiver and approver of the Lordship of Newport and constable of Newport Castle, and still held the approvership in 1466 after surrendering the other offices.[12]
25 Sep 1475: General pardon to Morgan ap Jehankyn ap Philip of Langston within the kings lordship of Carlyon in the marches of wales, esquire, of all offences committed by him before 19 September.[13]
