John was born about 1583 in Shropshire, England, the son of George Benyon and Margaret Brabant.
He died after 1634. The place is not known.
His wife was Katherina Hotchkiss. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Thomas (c1594-?), Mary (c1598-?), Edona [Idowe] (c1602-?) and John (c1608-?).
