Notes

Note 1

!Source: Swedish Parish Records as researched by Anna-Lena Hultman.

!Notes: She moved around a lot and worked as a maid at several farms in Jung, Norra Vanga, and Harjevad parishes. After marrying Johan Petter Johansson in about 1874, they settled down for a while at the farm Bremsagarden in Fyrunga parish. They had two children there and then moved their family to the US in 1887. Anna-Lena Hultman's notes gave the marrage date as 27 Oct 1847. Judging from the rest of the story, I think she transposed the 4 and 7, so that the date should have been 1874. James Hotchkiss' notes show her in the US in 1884, while the 1887 date is from Swedish records.
