He died about 1536. The place is not known.
His wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their three known children were Humphrey (c1493-?), John (1498-c1585) and Thomas (c1500-c1543).

Note: If Roger were to have gone with his father on his 1473 trip to Lincolnshire, that would have put him in position to take part in this case. As the only Hodgkinson recorded in Lincolnshire by this time period, John of York ~1435 - >1488 is uniquely placed as Roger’s likely father. Wode is actually better placed for an alias than might be apparent at first glance. Remember the original family place-name before Hawkins, Hotchkiss, Hill, Hodgekinson, Hawkesworth, etc., was HawkesWODE, later written Hawkeswood.
