Humphrey was born about 1493 in Lincolnshire, England, the son of Roger Hodgkinson / “Wode” but his mother is unknown.
His wife is not known. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their four known children were Robert (c1515-?), Roger (c1516-?), Christopher (c1517-?) and Alice (c1539-?).
