Their eleven known children were Henry (1787-1872), Warner Robert (1789->1850), Mary “Polly” (1793-1872), Nancy (1795-1868), Elizabeth Read “Betsy” (1797-1846), Martha “Patsy” (1798-1880), William Hawkins “Hardy” (1800-1889), John Henry (1801-1895), Robert Seymore (1802-1870), Thomas H (1807-1880) and Nancy (1811-1870).
His second wife was Mary Tharpe, who he married in 1768 in Virginia, USA. Their four known children were Freeman A (1773-1816), Sally (1775-1830), Allen (1777-1858) and Mordecai “Cue” (1780-1846).
