Liberties & Town of Much Wenlock
In the name of the day amen. The eleventh day of October int he year of the reign of the Lady Elizabeth by the Grace of God Queen of England, France & Ireland Defender of the Faith etc the eleventh, there came mutually assembled all the burgesses of Much Wenlock aforesaid and its Liberties aforesaid by virtue of having aforesaid letters given to the most noble ancestors of the burgesses by the said Lady Queen under the great seal of England. And onm th eoath of those whose names are written below according to the customs of those appointed in the aforesaid town, they elected the bailiff of the Lady Queen in the aforesaid town and its liberties for the year next following and other officials, namely the coronor of the Lady Queen, the treasurer and the six men for this and they were sworn,
