!P: Floyd "Buck" Johnson, 63, Osage City, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 1985, at a Topeka Hospital.

!P: Mr. Johnson was employed by the Kansas Department of Transportation at Osage City before he retired in 1984. Previously he was employed by the John Deere Implement Co. at Eskridge from 1951 to 1956, and by Osage Farm Equipment at Osage City.

!P: He was born Feb. 14, 1921, northwest of Osage City, the son of J. L. and Ellen Anderson Johnson. He lived in the Osage community most of his life.

!P: He served with the Army Air Corps in Europe during World War II.

!P: Mr. Johnson was a member of Robert Heizer Post No. 198 of the American Legion at Osage City.

!P: He was married to Sara Meyer Jan. 9, 1946, at Osage City. She died Oct. 1, 1982.

!P: Survivors include four brothers, Harold A. Johnson, Elmer Johnson, Charles "Pat" Johnson and Bennie Johnson, all of Osage City.

!P: Services were Tuesday, Jan 29, at Crable Funeral Chapel, Osage City. Burial was in Union Cemetery at Osage City. Memorial contributions may be made to Lieber Public Library, Osage City, in care of the funeral chapel. --
