!P: Raymond Lindburg was born February 22, 1901, at Osage City, Kan., and passed away as the result of a grader-train collision at Melvern, Kan., January 11, at the age of 60 years, ten months and 19 days. He grew up on the family farm in the Pleasant Valley community and was engaged in farming most of his early life. On May 27, 1924, he was united in marriage to Elva Dorr of Osage City. In 1944 he moved to Osage City and for the past 17 years was employed by the county as maintainer operator.

!P: He leaves his widow of the home; a son, Kenneth, of Osage City; a daughter, Mrs Patricia Hendrickson, of Littleton, Colo., and four grandchildren.

!P: He was baptized in infancy in the Lutheran Church and confirmed in 1915.

!P: He was a devoted husband and father, receiving great enjoyment in the company of his grandchildren and family.

!P: Funeral services were held from the Grace Lutheran Church at 2:00 o'clock Saturday, Jan. 13. Rev. Carl Gustafson delivered the message. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lundgren sang, "Abide With Me," and "Face to Face," with Mrs. Don Lofgren as organist. Burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
