!P: Mr. Lindburg was a farmer before he retired in 1971. He was an Army veteran of World War I.

!P: He was born December 1, 1896, at Osage City, the sone of August E. and Johannah Matilda Johnson Lindburg, and spent his life in the Osage City community.

!P: Mr. Lindburg was a life member of Grace Lutheran Church and a member of Robert Heizer Post No. 198 of the American Legion, both at Osage City.

!P: He was married to Laura E. Jackson June 8, 1921, at Savonburg. She died December 14, 1980.

!P: Survivors include two sons, Clifford Lindburg, Hutchison, and Merl Lindburg, Tulsa, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Linda Anderson and Ellen Lindburg, both of Osage City, and Mrs. Florence Patrick, Kansas City, Mo.; four brothers, clarence Lindburg and Alton Lindburg, both of Osage City, Ragnar Lindburg, Duvall, Wash., and Richard Lindburg, Topeka; and two granddaughters.

!P: Services were at 1:30 p.m. Friday [Dec. 9] at Grace Lutheran Church in Osage City. Burial was in Union Cemetery, Osage City. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church and sent in care of Grable Funeral Chapel at Osage City. --
