Airth Parish 1789: Feb 8th/At a Constitute meeting of the Session compeared Helen Hodgcase and acknowledged herself with child and being exhorted to be ingenuous in giving up the real father She gave up Edward Danks workman at Dunmore Park as the Father of her Child and says the Child was begat about the middle of July last.

Airth Parish 1789: Feb 15th/ The Session being met and constitute Edward Danks appeared and achnowledged that he had been guilty with Helen Hodgecase about the middle of May last but refuses that he is the Father of her Child.
