Roger was born about 1454, the son of Ricardus Hawkins and Cathrine. The place is not known.

He died about 1485 in Herefordshire, England.

His wife was Isabel. They were married, but the date and place have not been found. Their six known children were Roger (c1475-?), Mawrice (c1478-?), Thomas (c1480-?), John (c1482-c1531), Susan (c1483-?) and Robarte (c1484-?).
