Biography

A Mary Baskarfyld, daughter of Humfry was baptised on 02 Jul 1555 at St Michael, Bassishaw, City of London[1].

In documentation at St Peter Westcheap, City of London, is the record of a Mary Baskerfeild, daughter of Humfrey Baskerfield, Alderman, christened at Shoreditch on 10 Oct 1563[2].

Mary was not mentioned in the will of her father, the will dated 01 Sep 1563[3]. Humphrey did record that his wife Jane was with child at the time the will was made and hence this child was presumably Mary who married Bejamin Gonson/Gonstone.

Benjamin Ganson, third son, m. Mary, daughter of Humphrey Baskerville, of London, Alderman. He was clerk of Ships 1588-1600.

Mary died in 1627. [4]
