Biography
William Bulstrode was born about 1560, son of Richard Bulstrode of Hedgeley Bulstrode in Buckinghamshire.[1]
On the 8th of April 1602 he married Alice Temple, daughter of Richard Temple of Temple Hall, Sibsden in Leicestershire, widow of John Dive, verderer of Ridlington Park in Rutland. [1] There were no children and Alice died in 1605 being buried on the 23rd of July. [1]
First returned to parliament as member for Rutland in 1604 William held the seat for more than 20 years. [1]
William's second wife was Mary Baskerville, daughter of Henry Baskerville, alderman of London, and widow of both Benjamin Gonson of Much Baddow in Essex and Charles Brooke of Templecoombe in Somerset. They were married by license granted on the 30th of January 1611. Again there were no children. [1]
On the 29t of June 1629 William married Anne, widow of Henry Banister a London goldsmith. They had no children. [1]
William died late in 1645 or early 1646. [1]
