Biography
Humfray Baskerfelde was baptised on 23 Sep 1547 at St Michael Bassishaw, City of London .[1]
In 1564 Humphrey was recorded in the will of his father Humphrey Baskverille. The "keeping, finding and virtuous bringing up" of Humphrey was to be undertaken by Thomas Heton, Mercer, a friend of the Testator.[2].
Unlike his siblings Humphrey was not recorded in the Owen Pedigree in the Visitation of Shropshire 1623.[3]
Similarly, Humphrey was not recorded in the will of his mother Dame Jane Duckett, in 1590.[4]
