His second wife was Agnes Right, who he married in 1538 in Hallingbury Great, Essex, England. Their two known children were Edward (c1538-?) and Elizabeth (c1538-?).

Ralph Leyghton of Cotys, gent, grants to Roger Corbett, Richard Leyghton, Thomas Otteley and Richard Trentham, Esq., Thomas Haysor and William Inter, a messuage in Russhebury and a meadow called Pawmond meydowe and one pasture lying in the field of Astwall [Elizabeth Mynton, widow] of the annual worth of 19/-; one messuage in Russhebury [Thomas Fewtreell] of annual value of 16/4; another messuage in Russhebury [Edward Horton] of annual value of 7/-; 1 pasture in Russhebury called Bromys close with a meadow adjoining [Thomas Horton] worth p.a. 6/8; a pasture in Russhebury called Haywards Butts [Richard Laken] value of 3/4 p.a.; and a craft in Wall under Eywod [Phelip Deyos] of value of 12d p.a.; a meadow in the Lake called Jennyne Maydowe [>>>Edward Hochekys<<<] of the annual value of 7/-; and la of land in the field of Astwall [Wm Hall] of annual value of 4d. To hold to Roger Corbett, Richard Leyghton Thomas Otteley, and Richard Trentham Esqs. and Thomas Hosyor and Wm Luter and their heirs and assigns forever, to the use of Ralph Leyghton and Anne Trentham daughter of Thomas Trentham late of Salop Esq. decd. and Elizabeth his wife and the heirs of the body of Ralph by Anne.
