He died on 1 JUN 1835 in Colborne, Ontario, Canada.
His wife was Mary Minor Shaw, who he married in 1777. The place has not been found. They had no known children.

Notes: [from above source] Moses' body was reinterred 28 Dec 1894 from Colborne to Grafton. Moses and all his family except Anna entered Canada in 1799 pursuant to the Canadian government's offer of free land to heads of families who settled there. Life in Canada in the 1800s was extremely harsh. Said by his grandson Smith to be 6'1" tall. Moses' entire family was musical and sang in harmony parts. Today he would probably be a barbershop quartet man.
