Mary was born on 5 MAY 1758 in Stonington, New London County, Connecticut, the daughter of Henry Shaw and Sarah Minor.

She died on 17 OCT 1824 in Haldimand Township, Ontario, Canada.

Her husband was Moses Hinman, who she married in 1777. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
