How she decided to become an office worker, i do not know, Perhaps Marie [Norman] encourged her. - "She got a job at Wiese's dept store in Rockford and learned to run several different business machines. Her determination and strength would get her thru the following years. With Bob [Robert Kemmerlilng, her son] in the service, Navy. Now she joined the local USO and became the loving mother to so many lonesome boys. she loved to dance, had a hearty laugh and buried her sorrows in service. - The time came later when she met and married Ed Buckley from Rockford {ill} The had another full and prosperous twenty five years before dhe passed away in Fla with burial in Rockford, Ill
