!P: Military graveside services were held Tuesday for Mrs. Harriet [Hotchkiss] Ellis, 53, in the Burlingame cemetery. Mrs. Ellis, a registered nurse, served with the army nurses corps during World War II in Australia, New Guinea and Manila, P.I. Mrs. Ellis died Nov. 9 in a Rockledge, Fla., hospital.

!P: Mrs. Ellis was born in Burlingame and was a graduate of Christ's Hospital Nursing School in Topeka. Funeral services were held in Rockledge Saturday and the body then brought to Burlingame for burial.

!P: Mrs. Ellis is survived by her widower, Maj. William Ellis of Rockledge, Fla.; her mother, Mrs. Nellie Griffin of Burlingame; two brothers, Neal S. Hotchkiss of Fukuoka, Japan, and James Hotchkiss of Wichita; six sisters, Mrs. Elmer Arnold of Merriam, Kan.; Mrs. Fred Anstaett and MRs. Wayne Denny of Burlingame; Mrs. Charles Gaines of Cottonwood Falls, Mrs. D. C. Adams of Holt, Mo., and Mrs. Bert Archibald of Wichita. --
