!Notes: Although Margaret’s life, marriage and children are well known and prooved, there seems to be some controversy over her birth, which is given as:

1. 1580, father Robert Hoskins by findagrave. Also shows grandfather William Hoskins and great-grandfather Henry Hoskins. The only evidence is the supposid gravestones, which are not pictured and perhaps family tradition.

2. 1584, father Robert Hoskins by numerous family trees. No evidence.

3. 1586, father John Hoskins by other family trees and there is a baptism record with this information.

For now I am taking this Margaret as choice number 1 contengent on information regarding the actual gravestones, but I will also be entering and tracing the ancestry of Margaret in choice number 3 based on actual records found only.

Also the marriage date of 1602 seems to have a Margaret born in 1586 be just a bit too young, especially if this was by Julian date which would make the birth actually in 1587 by modern dating.

Note: Julian calendar year starts March 25 while Gregorian starts January 1.
