Harry was born on 14 MAY 1888 in Big Beaver Township, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, the son of Frank Lucien Huffman and Martha Jane [Jennie] Hillman.

He died on 14 MAR 1950 in Ellwood City, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.

His wife was Matilda "Tillie" Jane Carnahan Law, who he married on 16 OCT 1912. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Harry James (1913-2004), Wilbert Law (1915-1997), Gladys Mae (1917-1984), Melva Alberta (1920-?), Frank Merwin (1924-2008), Carl William (1929-2001) and Janice Isabel (1931-2005).
