Jane was born in 1821 in Florence, Washington County, Pennsylvania, the daughter of James Maloney and Jane Morton.

She died on 6 DEC 1893. The place is not known.

Her husband was James Carr Huffman, who she married on 17 MAR 1842. The place has not been found. Their seven known children were Elvira Ellen (1843-1931), William H. (1844-1936), Sarah Elizabeth (1847-1925), John Thomas (1849-1910), Samuel J. (1852-1934), Josephine (1855-c1906) and Frank Lucien (1861-1927).
