her notes: " There has been some difficulty in establishing that there were two different Elizabeth Russells, around the same age and married to a Laird. GROS records show that the children of John and Elizabeth are as recorded here. I have not yet found the marriage details of John and Elizabeth, but the records do show them as being the parents of these children."
