Her husband was William Penman, who she married on 4 NOV 1774 in Airth, Stirlingshire, Scotland. Their seven known children were Alexander (1775-?), James (1777-?), John (1777-?), William (1785-?), Robert (1787-?), Marion Penman (1787-?) and Andrew (1794-1869).
