Reger, aged 80, departed of his earthly life April 1 at his home in Mineral Point. He had suffered a lingering illness. Mr. Reger was born March 7, In Luxemburg, a son of Peter and Anna Reger. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Herman of Wausau and Otto, Mineral Point and nine grandchildren. - Funeral services were held Friday, April 4 at 9:30 a.m. from the St.. Mary’s church with Fr. A. J. Mueller officiating. Burial was in St.. Mary’s Cemetery. Pallbearers included Robert Springer, Will Norman, Gus Reger, Urban Reger, Leslie Lawinger, and Will Roether. - Mr. Reger lived in Mineral Point, for the greater part of his life and worked at the Zinc Works until it closed. Since that time he lived a retired life, suffering poor Health for a long time.
