!Notes: Worked in the coal mines after his father's death in order to help support the family. In the early 1920's, David went to Los Angeles, California, where he worked as a time-keeper for Shell Oil Company. He returned to Burlingame in the early 1930's.

!P: Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Carey Funeral Home in Burlingame for David Easton, 67, who died on Sunday at his home.

!P: He was born Aug. 24, 1904, in County Stirling, Scotland and lived in the United States for 60 years. He spent most of his life in the Burlingame community. He was a coal miner before he retired.

!P: He was married to Lorena Mundy Oct. 21, 1933 at Burlingame. She survives. An infant daughter and another daughter died a few years ago.

!P: Besides Mrs. Easton, survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Elaine Mechtley, Alta Vista; two sons, Tom L. Easton of Topeka and David Easton of Manhattan; four sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Leslie, Mrs. Isabelle Cole and Mrs. Jean Maple, all of Burlingame and Mrs. Christina Heaton of Phoenix, Arizona; three brothers, George Easton, Jerome, Idaho, and Thomas Easton and Alexander Easton, both of Burlingame and 14 grandchildren.
