!Source: Elizabeth Penman [reply on www.hotchkissclan.com - Mar 26, 2005] I have nothing more on Margaret Rae other than her death on December 29, 1889 in Longdyke, Bothkenner from sclerosis. She was apparently born around 1822/23 but her christening does not appear in the OPR's for Bothkenner but her death certificate definitely names her parents as James Rae and Jane Sharp and her brother Joseph Sharp Rae was staying with her and husband William Penman during the 1851 census. Why she was never christened - I have no idea. Or the record has been lost.
