!P: Born January 28, 1875, in Pittsburgh, Pa., he had moved to Scranton as a child and spent most of his life om this area. He had lived with his son the past four years. He was a retired coal company operator and was a member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge for 70 years and the Scranton Cemetery Association for 50 years.
!P: Survivors, in addition to his son, include four sisters, Mrs. Agness Isaac, Scranton, Miss Ada Turvey, Topeka, Mrs. Ruth Shannon, Kansas City, and Mrs. Louise Buek, Lansing; a brother Walter Turvey, Burlingame; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
