!P: He was born Jul. 27, 1913, in the Peterson community north of Osage City, the son of John Ludwig and Ellen Marie Anderson Johnson, and spent his life in the Peterson and Osage City communities. He was a farmer.
!P: He was married to Bernice J. Romine April 30, 1941, near Burlingame. She survives.
!P: Other survivors include two daughters Marilyn Ross, Concordia, and Lois K. Johnson, Emporia; three grandchildren and a great-grandaughter.
!P: Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Crable Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Burial was in Burlingame Cemetery.
