Victor M. Johnson was born November 9, 1886 in Osage City and died January 3, 1967 in a local rest home where he had resided for several weeks.

Mr. Johnson had spent his entire life in this area and was a farmer stockman and sale barn operator.

Survivors include his wife, Hilda, at home; one son, Eldon, of Osage City; a brother Ludwig [Lute] of Osage City; three grandchildren and eight great-grandsons.

Funeral services for Mr. Johnson will be held Thursday afternoon at two o'clock from the Lutheran Church conducted by Rev. Frank Miller. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery. --
