!P: Mr. Johnson was a farmer and stockman and worked for the Osage County Soil Conservation Service before he retired. He also was a substitute mail carrier.

!P: He was born September 9, 1918, at Osage City, the son of Carl and Beda Natsen Johnson. He spent most of his life in the Osage City community.

!P: Mr. Johnson was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where he served on the church councile and was superintendent and treasurer of Sunday school classes.

!P: He married Bernice Walquist February 22, 1942, at Osage City. She survives.

!P: Other survivors include a daughter, Mary Liby, Osage City; a sister, Violet McGinnis, Topeka; and two grandsons.

!P: Burial was in Union Cemetery at Osage City, Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Lutheran Church at Osage City. Grable Funeral Chapel in Osage City was in charge of arrangements. --
