!P: Mrs. Lillia C. Brown, who lived at 1323 West, died Sunday night at 10:15 o'clock at Newman Memorial Hospital. She had been sick for the past two years.

!P: Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock at the First Presbyterian church. The Rev. Ralph L. Moreland, pastor of the church will be in charge. Burial will be in the Swedish at Osage City.

!P: Mrs. Brown was born January 30, 1900, at Blandinville, Ill, a daughter of Frank Johnson and the late Mrs. Johnson. She moved to Emporia from Osage City in 1945. She was married to Clarence Sylven in McComb, Ill.,, in 1919, and he died in 1940. December 20, 1941 she was married to Dr. F. E. Brown at Osage City.

!P: Survivors are her husband; one son, the Rev. Warren Sylven, of Round Lake, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. John Webb, Emporia, and Mrs. Dick Perry, Holtch; three grandchildren; and her father, Frank Johnson, Blandinsville, Ill. --

!P: Funeral services for Mrs. Lillie Brown who died Sunday night in Newman Memorial Hospital were held Wednesday afternoon at the First Presbyterian church. The Rev. Robert L. Moreland, pastor of the church conducted the service accompanied by Robert Burns.

!P: Pall bearers were: Arthur Martin, Glen Bacon, Dr. Prosser, Hamer Ligenbern, Claud Morton, and Arthur Kieson. Burial was in the Osage City Cemetery of Osage City.

!P: Out of town relatives who attended the services were, Mr. and Mrs. Loren Kibbe, Mr. and Mrs. Luke Silven, Florence and Christine Sylven, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Silven, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lindberg, [Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson, Osage City], Mrs. R.C. Brown, Mr. and Mrs. William Cooper, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Van Dolen and Mr. and Mrs. Claude Van Dolan, Preston; Loren Brown, Hutchison; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson of Blandinsville, Illinois; Donald Krill and Mr. and Mrs. Florence Krill, Wakarusa, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Van Dolan and Mrs. Ward Sutton, Independence, Kansas; Mr. and Mrs. Charles Exilin Herrington and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wells, Hanover. The Modern Priscille Club attended the services in a group.--
