Marcella was born about 1334 in Over Helmsley, North Riding, Yorkshire, England, the daughter of Marmaduke Thwenge and Agnes de Northwood.
Her husband was Sir William Hesketh, who she married in ABT 1347. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Thomas (c1348->1390), Nicholas (c1375-?) and Agnes (c1379-1443).
