The Wikipedia entry for his nephew, Thomas Bromley, Chief Justice of England, refers to him as "William Bromley of Mitley". [3]
1470 Birth, Parents and Birth Estimation
To accomodate an earlier birth year for his wife Beatrice, William's estimated birth year is being moved forward to 1460.
William Bromley's birth year is estimated as 1470. Elizabeth Bromley's husband Rowland Jennings, of Walliborne Hall was born between 1455 and 1515. Assuming Eleanor's birth at 1526, estimate her parents marriage at 1520 and their birth year as about 1490. Make Elizabeth 5 years younger than her husband and her birth year is 1495. Make Elizabeth's father 25 years older than Elizabeth -- and the birth year estimate would be 1470.
William Bromley was born about 1470, the son of Roger Bromley, born about 1440 and Ann Borrow, born about 1444.[1]
1493 Living
Brydges' edition of Collins' Peerage states that Beatrice's husband William Bromley, Esq, eldest son of Roger, was seated at Mitley and living 7 Henry VII . [4] Other than this, firm dates are scarce.

William Bromley married Beatrice Hill, born about 1474, daughter of Humphry Hill and Agnes Bird, circa 1492. [1]
Death
William Bromley's date of death is uncertain. Richards and Brink both report that he died in 1492[5] [7]which is unlikely since Richards also reported his marriage the following year, and the birth of his son George in 1495.
