The result looses the bottom of the a entirely, but the top of the letter isn’t pointed like an i, but then the right side of the a is over-written as he tries to squeeze the w in too close to the a, causing it to appear to be missing it’s left side as well, which helps with the false read of the w as an n, which for those of you no longer learning cursive is meant to have two humps.
