A 1532 probate entry and burial for "Willi Hawksyns" of West Bromwich, Staffordshire , strongly suggests William survived beyond the 1528 Steventon inventory and 1530 Erdington probate. The 1532 act book notes his death occurred "on the day of the nativity of Our Lady" , further anchoring a plausible timeline for delayed or regional probate processing.
