Sarah Baskerville, wife of Thomas Owen, Justice of the Common Pleas[1]
'Sarah Baskerfeld' was baptised on 5 March 1551/1552 at St Michael Bassishaw, City of London, daughter of Humfry.[2]
In the will of her father Humphrey, the will made on 1 September 1563 and proved on 14 March 1563/1564[3] it was recorded that Sara was to be brought up by Harry Hungate, Mercer, the son in law of Humphrey, and that Harry Hungate should have the use and occupation of her inheritance until she should marry or come of age.
In the Owen pedigree in the Visitation of Shropshire in 1623[1][4] she was recorded as the third daughter of Humphrey Baskerville; and the wife of Thomas Owen with issue Jane, Elizabeth, Roger , Thomas, Margaret, Richard, Peter, William, Sarah, and Mary.

Sara was not mentioned in the will of her mother Dame Jane Duckett, as Sara had died a few days before Jane made her will in 1589.[13]
On 7 September 1589 an infant of Mr Thomas Owen was buried at St Michael, Bassishaw, City of London. Six days later on 13 September 1589, Sara Owen, wife of Thomas, was buried at St Michael Bassishaw, City of London.[14]
