Biography
Richard de Baskerville was born c 1298, son of Roger de Baskerville of Lauton, Shropshire, and Bredwardine, Herefordshire.[1][2]
1311: Final concord between Richard de Hompton and Roger de Baskerville, knights, over an agreement between their sons Richard and Richard and their wives Juliana and Margaret.[3]
According to Eyton[2] he married before 1316 Julianna, surname unknown.

Career
30 Oct 1324: Commission to Richard de Baskervill, John Inge and Roger Carles concerning oppressions by William de la Wode, keeper of the castle and lands of Wyggemore in the counties of Hereford and Salop.[5]
12 Dec 1325: Commission to Richard de Baskervyll, John Inge and others concerning trespass of the king's parks of Clebury and Ernewode, Salop.[6]

He appears to have died before 20 May 1344 as in the Inquisition Post Mortem of his mother Joan on that date her heir was Walter, son of Richard.[4]

Lauton. The hamlet held for her life in dower, of the inheritance of the said Roger, by the assignment of Richard de Baskervyll, son and heir of Roger de Baskervyll, deceased, in allowance of her whole dower. The said hamlet is held of the king in chief, as of the honour of Monte Gomery, by service of giving to the king a barbed arrow whenever he shall come into those parts to hunt in the chace of Corvdon.
She died on the feast of SS. Philip and James last. Walter, son and heir of Richard de Baskervyll son of Roger de Baskervyll, aged 27 years at the feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist last, is the next heir in blood of the said Roger.
