He died on 24 APR 1980 in St.. Luke's Hsptl, Bettendorf, Scott County, Iowa.
He had two marriages/partners. His first wife was Gladys Gertrude Dittman, who he married on 4 APR 1937 in Rock Island, Rock Island Cnty, Illinois. Their two known children were Barbara Jean (1940-?) and Sandra Lee (Private) (1944-?).
His second wife was Francis Van Antwerp, who he married on 7 SEP 1948. The place has not been found. They had no known children.

!Notes: Theodore had two daughters before his first wife passed away at the early age of 31. He married again and lived with his wife and two daughters, two doors down the road from his mother's house, in Pleasant Valley, Iowa.
