His wife was Caroline Elizabeth Sill, who he married on 1 MAY 1855. The place has not been found. Their four known children were Herman Kent (1856-1934), Frank Denison (1857-1922), Harriett Elizabeth (1861-?) and Lincoln Bertram (1865-1867).
