John was born on 29 APR 1824 in Monkton, Vermont, the son of Martin Finney and Sally Mallory.
His wife was Alzina Leonie Twitchell, who he married in 1855. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Burritt (1858-1883), Martin Loyal (1863-1887) and Effie Blanche (1866-?).
