His wife was Rose Marie, who he married in ABT 1960. The place has not been found. Their three known children were Janet (Private) (1963-?), Brinton (Private) (1965-?) and Margann (Private) (1970-?).

!Notes: Dr. Richard L. Bennett like his father studied to become a dentist, and worked with his father in Madison, Kansas until 1964, when he moved his family to Emporia, Lyon County, Kansas where he has been a practicing dentist for over 24 years with offices at 903 Commercial Street.
