He had three marriages/partners. His first wife was Majorie Ann Burden, who he married on 25 AUG 1944 in Corpus Christi, Nueces County, Texas. Their only known child was Floyd (Private) (1945-?).
His second wife was Laveda Kohleman, who he married on 31 DEC 1948 in Osage City, Osage County, Kansas. Their ten known children were LeRoy Thomas (Private) (1949-?), Diana Lee (Private) (1951-?), Marilyn Ann (Private) (1953-?), Floyd Thomas (Private) (1954-?), Malcolm Thomas (Private) (1956-?), Walter Thomas (Private) (1960-?), Cheryl Ann (Private) (1962-?), Teresa Ann (Private) (1964-?), Danny Thomas (Private) (1968-?) and Kit Thomas (Private) (1969-?).
His third wife was Martha Ball, who he married in MAY 1973. The place has not been found. They had no known children.
