His wife was Rebecca Barnes, who he married on 22 SEP 1730 in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Their six known children were Sarah (1732-?), Jonathan (1733-?), Martha (1735-?), Lemuel (1737-?), Seth (1743-1745) and Rebecca (1747-?).
