His second wife was Abigail Bishop, who he married on 10 JUN 1650 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. They had no known children.
His third wife was Elizabeth Bailey, who he married on 26 JUN 1654 in Barnstable, Massachusetts. Their seven known children were Jonathan (1655-1728), Robert (1656-1690), Hannah (1657-?), Elizabeth (1659-?), Josiah (1661-?), Jeremiah (1662-1748) and Joshua (1665-1714).
