Samuel was born on 20 MAY 1699 in Bristol, Rhode Island, the son of Joshua Finney and Mercy Watts.
He died in 1765 in Warwick, Rhode Island.
His wife was Elizabeth Wood, who he married on 12 MAR 1727. The place has not been found. Their two known children were Benjamin (1727-1727) and Mercy (1732-?).
